Time line,
Task 1

Task 2

The reason I am most interested in the leadership of Martin Luther King, Jr. is that he showed leadership from the sidelines. He didn’t get a group of government stakeholders together and facilitate a meeting to decide what policies to change. No, he spoke over the heads of government, directly to the general public. His efforts had a leadership impact on government when, for example, the US Supreme court outlawed segregation on buses. But he was not in charge of any part of the government, so he showed leadership on a one-off basis without being in charge of those who followed.

2. Dr. King was awarded at least 50 honorary degrees from colleges and universities in the U.S. and elsewhere. Besides winning the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize, in 1965 King was awarded the American Liberties Medallion by the American Jewish Committee for his "exceptional advancement of the principles of human liberty". Reverend King said in his acceptance remarks, "Freedom is one thing. You have it all or you are not free". King was also awarded the Pacem in Terris Award, named after a 1963 encyclical letter by Pope John XXIII calling for all people to strive for peace.

3. Two Questions I Would Ask Martin Luther King :

1. Who or what inspired you to work in your field?

2. Some advice to people who want to follow your path : What are three things you should never do in this business?
